"Coming into R.A.F I had 3 goals in mind. 1) To get faster in my swimming (competitive swimmer) and make nationals. 2) To get bigger as well as have a strong core and 3) To have a better technique when in the weight room. None the less all of these goals were achieved and working with Mike has definitely made my goals a reality. Technique is a big thing to him as it should be for everyone who works out. And his creativity with the workouts is amazing, especially with different athletes.
I currently am now a sophomore at Iona college and swim on a division 1 team. I can honestly say Mikes training has over prepared me for college."

He keeps me in shape out of season and prepares me for my season in the spring. Since last year, I have developed PR's in almost all categories. "Training at RAF Strength & Fitness over the summer helped me immensely with my future as a student athlete. Mike did a fantastic job teaching me the right form and techniques for certain exercises, while at the same time making me much stronger for my track career at Binghamton University. I recently pulled my hamstring last spring, restricting me to participate in any running events during my season. Because of this, Mike worked with me to perform exercises focused around making my hamstring stronger, greatly reducing the risk of any injury in the future. Training with him also made me much stronger and better prepared for testing at school, allowing me to exceed the expectations of my weight trainer at Binghamton as well as my friends on the team. Overall, my experience couldn’t have been any better, I am consistently impressed with how much knowledge about weight training Mike has. The workouts were very intense and rewarding, creating a very positive environment in the weight room. Because of this, I will continue to attend RAF in the future with my brothers and friends."

As a college athlete, the summer is always a super important time for building strength and staying healthy, and RAF helps me do just that. The atmosphere during lift is competitive and enjoyable as I get to push myself and test my strength while also feeling 100% comfortable and understood. The balance in workouts between hard, strenuous activities yet also open to discussion and enjoyment as perfect for what I'm looking for. For a number of years we have had the great fortune of having our athletes train at RAF Strength Fitness. Under the direction of Mike Lisi, our players see amazing results. Not only do they get an education on the proper way to train, they are pushed both mentally and physically. Mike does this for our athletes in offseason and in season training sessions.
Having coached Mike Lisi at Carey HS, I can attest to his tremendous work ethic and passion for training. More impressive is the rapport that Mike has created with the athletes that he is training. They look up to him, they view him as a role model, which he undoubtedly is. It is a very reassuring thing to know as a coach - not only are our athletes getting bigger, stronger, faster and mentally tougher with Mike, he's working to make them better people.

Whom this may concern. My thunder 2004 girls softball team is a very competitive softball team. I had heard about Mike and his program and decided to go down and speak to him about what he and his program can do to take my girls to the next level of competition. Mike and I sat down and spoke and through Mike’s knowledge , experience and understanding of the developmental process especially with young kids he developed an outstanding training program for my girls. He incorporated many different factors that relied on strength, speed, Agility and flexibility while maintaining the highest level of energy and dedication for the kids. My kids were hungry to return for each and every session and three months later you can undoubtedly see not only the change in their game but the change in their physical and mental appearance. I highly recommend Mike and his staff
